What we provide
Services
Multiple sites or community project?
Data language
Project information may be submitted in English or another commonly used language. Final reports are delivered in English. Translated versions may be available through the Bilingual Report Package for selected major languages. If translation or clarification is needed, BlueReel may contact you before starting the analysis.
Data format
Typed documents, spreadsheets, maps, PDFs, photos, and structured notes are preferred. Handwritten notes may be accepted, but clear digital information helps improve accuracy and turnaround time.
Data quality
More complete information improves the usefulness of the report. If important information is missing, BlueReel may contact you for clarification before starting or completing the analysis.
Recommended materials
Helpful materials include site coordinates, river photos, estimated head and flow, rainfall records, access information, grid connection details, intended use, and any previous survey or project documents.

FAQs
What data and sources do you use?
We combine client-provided information with publicly available hydrology, terrain, mapping, and climate datasets — including satellite-derived resources and terrain models — to produce screening-level assessments.
Do I need on-site measurements or complete site data to order a report?
No. We can prepare an early-stage screening report even when some site data is missing, using publicly available data where appropriate. However, more detailed site-specific information will improve report confidence. Helpful materials include location details, site photos, flow or head information, rainfall records, grid/access information, and your intended project use. If the available information is limited or unclear, We may ask for confirmation or clarification before proceeding with the analysis.
How accurate are the results?
Results reflect the data available at the time of screening. Confidence depends on the quality and completeness of the available data — reports based on measured site data will generally be more reliable than those based mainly on public-source inputs and assumptions.
Is this a feasibility study?
No. BlueReel reports are screening-level decision support materials, not a full feasibility study. A feasibility study typically requires site surveys, field measurements, engineering design, permitting review, and detailed cost analysis. BlueReel helps you understand whether a site deserves deeper investigation and what should be validated next.
Does BlueReel review existing dams or large hydropower facilities?
BlueReel focuses on early-stage hydropower screening and candidate site assessment. We do not provide dam safety review, formal redesign, rehabilitation assessment, flood operation review, or performance evaluation of existing large hydropower facilities. These requests require site-specific engineering review and qualified specialist assessment. If an existing dam, canal, or hydropower facility is relevant to your project, BlueReel may still review the request if it is limited to early-stage screening. BlueReel may decline requests outside its screening-level scope.
Can BlueReel decline a submitted request?
Yes. We may decline requests that fall outside our screening-level scope or appear to require formal local engineering, legal, environmental, safety, or regulatory review. If a submitted request is outside BlueReel’s scope, we will contact you before the analysis begins and, where appropriate, recommend that you consult qualified local specialists or engineering consultants.
What is the difference between Light Analysis and Premium Analysis?
Light Analysis provides a structured early-stage screening report giving you a clear overview of hydropower potential, key assumptions, and major constraints. Premium Analysis includes everything in Light Analysis, plus detailed expert commentary on each section — covering practical risks, project objectives, and what to prioritize next.
How long does delivery take?
Light Analysis is typically delivered in 2–5 business days. Premium Analysis is typically delivered in 5–10 business days. Delivery time begins after scope confirmation, payment, and sufficient site information are received.
How will I receive the report?
Reports are delivered via a secure download link sent to the email address provided at the time of order.
How do you handle submitted project information?
Submitted project information is used for report preparation, review, and delivery. We do not publish client-submitted project materials or share them with unrelated third parties. Client data is handled responsibly and used only for its intended purpose.
How does payment work?
After you submit the order form, BlueReel reviews the submitted information and confirms the project scope. We then send an invoice for payment. Credit card and bank transfer options are available.
What is your refund policy?
Payments are non-refundable once analysis has begun. If BlueReel is unable to proceed with the project, a refund will be provided.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Credit card and bank transfer options are available. Analysis begins after scope confirmation and full payment are received.
Do you guarantee project feasibility?
BlueReel does not guarantee project feasibility or final investment outcomes. Our goal is to provide objective, screening-level decision support. A cautious or negative conclusion can be a highly valuable outcome, as it helps developers and investors avoid unnecessary survey, design, or capital costs early in the process.
Why do I need a BlueReel report if I need a consultant after?
BlueReel reports are designed to help you decide whether a site is worth pursuing further before engaging engineers, consultants, or legal advisors. A screening report gives you something concrete to bring into those conversations, so you have a clearer idea of what needs to be discussed.
Can I use the report for investors, internal meetings, or stakeholders?
Yes. BlueReel reports are designed as structured decision materials for early project discussions, stakeholder review, internal meetings, and next-stage planning. Each report includes a PDF report and PowerPoint summary to help teams communicate site potential, key risks, data gaps, and recommended validation priorities more clearly.
